As a fashion blogger, finding ways to be climate-friendly can be a challenge but it's not impossible. I've been and still continue to be a consumer of fast fashion brands. I shop more mindful these days and if I choose to spend my income with brands such as; ZARA, BooHoo, Amazon Fashion, NastyGal, etc. I only purchase 1-5 items at a time. I will spend a higher dollar amount on small businesses, and lesser-known brands to minimize my ecological footprint. I also feel better about my purchases when I know it's going towards a business that focuses on sustainability. Now onto the topic you came here for...
What is PTCL?
A sustainable denim brand based in Los Angeles, CA.
How are they sustainable?
PTCL believes that sustainability is a commitment, not a trend. They start with sustainable materials, continue with conscious design and carry through with mindful manufacturing and shipping. Less water, less energy, and less waste. Better for the plant, consumers, and communities.
What are they committing to?
Responsibly sourced materials - recycled, organic, or sustainably sourced materials/fabrics
Water saving technology - they use a water recycling system that recycles 80% of the water
Energy efficiency - automated cutting, sewing, and finishing increase productivity and reduces energy output.
Ok, I'm in love.. where do I add to cart?
